New Operators’ Workshop
Workshop for potential adult care home operators. Provides overview of initial licensure inspection, license application requirements and process. Creates initial referral linkages.
Residential Care Facility Rules
This workshop discusses the Ohio Administrative Code (OAC) 5122-30 and the specific requirements mandated for the operation of a residential facility. Also covers Resident Rights and the Grievance Procedures.
RF2 Fundamentals
This course covers the required topics for licensure compliance: fire safety, abuse and neglect, securing medical and psychiatric assistance, supervision of self-administration of medications, resident rights, mental health orientation, and personal care.
Supervision of Self Administration of Medications
Required for licensure compliance, this workshop is taught by a Registered Nurse. It covers the rule (5122-30-28), its practical application and appropriate documentation.
The Admissions Process
This workshop addresses the steps necessary to a successful admission. Reviews the steps and forms needed to create a complete resident file. Participants create a ‘cheat sheet’ of the necessary forms that are signed at admission.
